We've been acquired!

Steve Jobs once said, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." He couldn't have been more right.

To our friends and customers:

Today, we are thrilled to share that we are joining forces with Dialpad and have entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired. Jim and Etienne founded TalkIQ in 2014 with the grand vision to help businesses capture and learn from their customer conversations. They built some of the best tech I've seen — and recruited some exceptional talent. I was fortunate to join them halfway on their journey and it's been an incredible experience. None of it would be possible without our amazing team, investors, and customers. To each and every one of you: thank you.

Going forward, our mission remains unchanged. We'll simply have more resources to continue building the products and features that delight our users. Bringing our technology across three different platforms (Dialpad, Call Center, UberConference), all in real-time, without the need for new software or changes in behavior is game-changing. I smile every time I see our tech at work in Dialpad, because of how seamless it is.

Starting today, you can use the magic that was TalkIQ as native features across the Dialpad platform. We’re calling it VoiceAI, and you can learn more about it here.

Our initial features will save you time (e.g., automated note taking and AI generated call summaries), and we'll be quickly rolling out updates to enhance your conversations with customers and prospects (real-time coaching features and in-call recommendations), and help you unlock the last offline data set with deep post-call analytics. You get all of this without the need for a Frankenstein stack of different products and integrations. Dialpad is all you need. Make a call. Magic will happen.

On a personal note, I want to say thank you to our team one more time. You're the best. Through all the ups and downs of building a company, we accomplished what many never do. I'm proud to be part of this team. This has been (and is!) the most fun I've had in my career, and I'm incredibly grateful to share the experience with you all. I'm just as excited to continue this journey with each and every one of you and our new friends at Dialpad.

Lastly, to our friends at Atomic who were the catalysts for everything that became TalkIQ. A huge thank you for the advice, help, mentorship, support, intros, food, office space, and our first check to provide some level of sustainability. Without you, there was none of this.
